Who is responsible

Nikah AI Ltd, trading as CaseWarRoom (company number 17199968, registered office Office 1216, 60 Tottenham Court Road, London W1T 2EW) is the controller for the personal data described here. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number ZC176381. Contact: info@nikah-ai.com.

The CaseWarRoom app

Your case documents, notes and database stay on your computer. We never receive them. The app sends us no telemetry and does not check your licence online.

The app only connects to the internet when you ask it to: to an AI provider you have configured; to official legal sources (legislation.gov.uk, BAILII, the National Archives' Find Case Law and justice.gov.uk) when you check a citation or look for law changes, which sends the reference being checked, not your documents; and to Microsoft or Google if you connect a mailbox or drive yourself. For those services you are dealing with the provider directly.

This website

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other websites. We do not keep web access logs for it.

When you buy a licence

• What Stripe and Onelink collect: your email address, card details, name and billing country and postcode. Stripe runs the checkout and Onelink, Stripe's reseller service, processes the sale as merchant of record and sends your receipt. They are responsible for that data under their own privacy notices. Your card details never reach us.
• What we can see in Stripe: the email address you gave, the plan, the amount, the date and whether the payment succeeded.
• What our licence server keeps: the Stripe checkout reference, the plan, your licence key, the date it was issued, which version of these terms you accepted, and whether the payment was refunded. It does not store your name or email address.

Why: to sell you the licence and show you your key (performance of a contract); to keep accounting records (legal obligation); and to prevent fraud and deal with refunds (legitimate interests).

How long: licence records are kept for 7 years after purchase, then deleted automatically. Stripe keeps payment records for as long as the law requires it to, and we keep the accounting records we must keep for 6 years.

Where: our licence server is hosted in the United Kingdom. Stripe may process data in the United States under the UK's data protection safeguards for international transfers.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to have it transferred. Email info@nikah-ai.com with the email address you paid with. We will reply within one month. We can delete your licence record on request; your key will keep working on your computer, because it is checked offline. After deletion we keep only a one-way fingerprint of the checkout reference, so the deleted key is never shown again; it identifies nobody and is removed after 7 years. We cannot delete accounting records the law requires us to keep.
